The processing technology of stainless steel plate is diverse, including cold rolling, forging and hot rolling. Here is an introduction to the forging process of stainless steel plate:

1. Die forging

The billet used in this process is a rolled profile. If a stainless steel plate is used as a raw material, the profile rolled by the steel ingot must be prepared. After being heated, the blank is put into the die for forging, the pressure makes the metal flow and fills the cavity; if the blank after die forging has burrs, the burrs must be removed.

2. Free forging

For special-shaped pipe fittings or stainless steel plates that are not suitable for die forging, the free forging process can be used. Free forging should forge the general shape of the pipe fittings.

3. Cutting

For some cylindrical stainless steel plates, rods or thick-walled pipes can be directly cut and formed. For tees, crosses, and elbows, they cannot be directly cut and formed.

The above is about the forging process of stainless steel plates, and the methods used in different production processes are not the same, so you have to choose the right method that suits your product according to your own requirements.
